How to Integrate your Uber Eats Account with Tookan?

UberEats is an online food ordering and delivery platform. Users can read menus, reviews, and ratings, order, and pay for food from participating restaurants using an application on the iOS or Android platforms, or through a web browser. Users are also able to tip for the delivery.

The Tookan integration with UberEats streamlines the end-to-end ordering and delivery operations. You can easily set up your online presence within minutes.

The integration process is very simple and takes only a few minutes to set up. Here’s a step by step guide:

1. Create your Uber developer account at https://developer.uber.com/dashboard.

2. Create an Application on the dashboard with the following details.

i) API Suite: Eats Marketplace.

ii) Add your organization’s details.

iii) Setup Application.

iv) Next Steps, Open Application.

3. From the Setup tab, copy your Client Secret and Application Id.

4. In the Access Token Tab, select Client Credentials and check all the scopes.

5. Go to the Tookan Extensions Page (https://extensions.tookanapp.com/addons) search for Ubereats and activate it.

6. Add all the details and make the configurations as per your requirement. Click on Next.

7. Check the status and enable the toggle to configure the integration for the store and Submit.

8. Copy the webhook URL.

9. Add this webhook URL on your Ubereats Developer dashboard in the Setup tab.

10. To get your orders from Ubereats to Tookan, ask the Ubereats team to change the store delivery type to “Delivery_By_ThirdParty” instead of “Delivery_By_Uber” and the integration is completed.

NOTE: If the store has an “Autocancel Order If POS Injection Error” disabled, the denied orders can be accepted from the tablet within 11.5 minutes of the order placed time. If not, the orders will be shown as denied from the POS end.
