In Tiger we have multiple order types for each use case . There are specific order type to sell products ,to rent a product and offer services . The admin can at any given time can have multiple order types in a single platform as well as can define in which category which order type is going to be used.
In this article we will tell you about how to set up an order type for renting products.
To select this order type, the admin needs to follow the below steps –
- Switch to the admin dashboard
- Go to Configure order types
- Click onĀ add a new order type and select renting products
- After clicking on Renting product order type you will get to a page where you will get an option
of Naming the order type, putting a name to the checkout button related to that order type
and setting up different pricing and order options like allowing your seller to add a price ,
delivery fee etc.The main task here is to select Pricing unit with availability of calendar
A. If you simply want to rent out your product on a per hour basis we have a generic option just for
this use case you can simply select this option and your user can rent out their product on a per
hour basis with availability of calendarPlease note : Inventory is not applicable in renting order types
Listings that will be listed under such order type will appear like the below on the user endB. User also has the option to add multiple prices for a single listing which can be done by choosing the option of Custom date time and enables merchants to add prices for per hour, per day, per week etc. Merchants can choose the desired option from the drop down and add different prices accordingly
