Push Campaigns on Yelo

 

Push campaigns or broadcast messages are magical words of wisdom that nudge user behaviour in a positive direction. Run engaging push campaigns on your Yelo app with the following steps.

 

  1. Navigate to Push Campaigns by clicking on Marketing in the left-hand menu on your screen. 

  2. Mobile Push are default notification campaigns that appear in the ‘announcements’ section of your mobile app. Alternatively, you can also choose to create a Chat Message which helps users start a conversation outside of your mobile app environment.

Mobile Push Campaigns

  1. Let’s start with Mobile Push. Click on Choose your audience and select the set of users you wish to send the notification. Your options are:
    1. Registered Users (people that have registered their email ids and mobile numbers on your app).
    2. Web Users (people that have registered using your website).
    3. Mobile Users (people that use your mobile app).
    4. New Users (people that have recently created an account).
    5. All Users (everybody that has an account on your Yelo App).2.

      After selecting the audience for your campaign, the next step is to craft a CTA driven message that helps users engage with your mobile app.

      3. The next step is to set an expiry limit to your mobile push campaign in a number of days. For example, if you set this to 1 day, your message will disappear after 24 hours from the announcements section of your app.
      Note: Set your expiry days to 0 for lifetime validity.


      4. Image-based notifications are an attractive way of getting your message across to the audience. You can add an image to your Mobile Push campaign by clicking on choose image and selecting an image with a 2:1 ratio (width: height).

       

      5. Just click on ‘Send’ and Voila. You have successfully sent a Mobile Push notification to all your mobile app users.


Chat Message

  1. Chat Message campaigns are an effective way of reaching all users through a normal text message on their mobile phone. To create a chat message campaign, just click on the ‘Chat Message’ option in the Push Campaigns dashboard.
  2. Select your audience for the Chat Message campaign, just as we did for Mobile Push. Your options are:
    1. Registered Users (people that have registered their email ids and mobile numbers on your app).
    2. Web Users (people that have registered using your website).
    3. Mobile Users (people that use your mobile app).
    4. New Users (people that have recently created an account).
    5. All Users (everybody that has an account on your Yelo App).


  3. After selecting your audience, it is time to write your message. Type your CTA driven message and go to the next step.
    Note: There is no expiry date for Chat Message campaigns. And we cannot add images to these messages.


  4. Click on send and your Chat Message will be sent to every user in the select audience.
  5. This is how your Chat Message will appear on your Yelo App.
