User Guide for Bluetooth Printer Functionality on Web

1. Configuring Printer Settings via Admin Panel

Before starting with the Bluetooth printer setup on your web application, you need to configure the printer settings through the admin panel.

Steps:

1. Open the admin panel of your application.
2. Navigate to Configure > Order Settings > Orders.
3. Enable the Auto Print option to use the Bluetooth printer.

 

2. Configuring Printer Settings via Merchant Panel

1. Enable the Auto Print Feature:
   1. Navigate to the order listing page.
   2. Enable the toggle “Bluetooth Printer” at the top right corner of the order listing page.
2. Confirm Printer Connection:
   1. It should automatically detect the paired Bluetooth printer.
   2. If a confirmation or setup screen appears, follow the on-screen instructions to select the paired Bluetooth printer as the default printer.

 

Setup Done, Now you are good to go for Bluetooth printing.

Functionality Guide

1. Printing Order Details from the Order Detail Page manually.

• Navigate to the order details page, and click on the order ID you want to print.
• The order details page of the respective order will appear.
• At the top right corner, you will find the print icon.
• Click the print icon, and the printer will print the order details.

2. Auto Printing When Receiving New Orders (when manually accepted)

• When a new order is received on the order listing page, you have the option to accept or reject the order.
• Once you click the accept button, the printer will print the order automatically.
  Note: The printer should be connected, and the toggle should be Enabled (connected).

 

3. Printing When Receiving New Orders (When accept/reject is disabled)

 

• When a new order is received on the order listing page, the new order will be printed automatically when auto accept/reject is disabled.

Note: The printer should be connected, and the toggle should be enabled (connected).

By following these steps, you should be able to successfully set up and use your Bluetooth printer with the merchant WebApp. 

Additional Tips:

• Keep Devices Close: For optimal performance, keep your laptop and Bluetooth printer close to each other to maintain a stable connection.
• Check the Bluetooth connection after closing and reopening the app.
• Ensure the toggle on the order listing page is ON to ensure smooth printing.

Important Note:

• The Bluetooth printer will not work alongside the Sunmi printer.
• The build with Bluetooth printing functionality is not compatible with the Sunmi printer and vice versa.
