1. Setting up the SEO
The first step towards marketing the platform is to set up the SEO ( Search Engine Optimisation) for increased visibility of the platform to users since it involves optimising and improving the quality and quantity of website traffic to a website or a web page from search engines.
SEO targets unpaid traffic (known as “natural” or “organic” results) rather than direct traffic or paid traffic. Unpaid traffic may originate from different kinds of searches, including image search, video search and industry-specific vertical search engines.

2. Creating Promo Codes
Promotional codes encourage purchases on their website and are typically associated with an overarching promotional marketing strategy.
Currently in Panther , promo codes can be added for listings and Courses. Promo codes are configurable both at the admin and expert level .
But for experts to avail this service , promo codes have to be enabled from the admin level by going to
Advanced Settings> Promotion preferences> Allow experts to create promo code for their Listings and Courses.
How to Add Promo Codes?
Admins can add promo codes through the following steps:
a. Log in as an Admin
b. Switch to Expert dashboard
c. Scroll down to Manage section
d. Go to Promo Codes
e. Add promo code in form of flat discount or percent discount
f. Choose whether promo is to be applied on Listings or Courses
g.Fill in the fields and choose desired options
3. Hippo Push Campaigns
Like the name suggests, push campaigns are designed to push customers to buy your products/services by minimizing the time between a customer discovering a product and buying that product. A push campaign is an effective marketing tool and can potentially drive up your sales if you do it right. Our platform is equipped with the right tools to help you create a robust push campaign. Admins can notify users about the products or services available, how can users avail discounts on order through promo codes and much more.
Here’s how you can create push campaigns from the admin dashboard:
4. Invite Users
As an admin , you have the option to invite users to your platform by going to the Admin dashboard> Email> Invite Users.
Please Note: Before inviting users, you have set your own custom email as the outgoing email address by going to Email> Welcome Email> Change sender name and email.
If not changed, all emails will be sent through the standard added email which is firstname.lastname@example.org
To invite users, simply click on + Invite New Users. Clicking on which you will be prompted to add the email addresses and content of the email. Fill in the required fields and send invitation.
Currently invite users work only for users and not experts. Meaning, an invite sent will redirect the recipient to the customer signup and not the expert signup
5. Setting up POSTS and configuring them with FACEBOOK (Configured by Experts)
POSTS is a super exciting feature, which gives more power to experts in terms of promoting themselves on the marketplace and social media by posting images or videos.
Posts can be used as a means of social networking tool through which users are exposed to content posted on by experts on Panther platform and facebook page (optional).
Admins can explore posts through Admin dashboard> Home> Quick links> Posts.
A. Posts- Admin Configuration
Posts are automatically enabled from the Admin dashboard
B. Posts- Expert Configuration
Experts can create posts on Panther platform without any configurations. But if experts wish to create posts on his/her facebook page simultaneously, some configurations need to be done from the expert end.
