As a marketplace admin, you can choose to charge a transaction fee/commission fees from each paid transaction in your marketplace. To enable commissions, follow these steps:

  • Go to Commissions under Order Settings in the Configure section of the sidebar menu
  • Toggle the Commission switch on, available on top of the Commissions page
  • In the Setup tab, you can choose from two options of charging commission; you can either charge a percentage of the total transaction price or a minimum fixed fee
  • Fill the required fields under Setup and click on Save
  • You can add Tier-wise Commission as well for orders that fall in a certain price range. If the order amount does not lie in any of these tiers, the default commission rates will apply. To add tier wise commission, use the section available under Commission Setup

In the Commissions page, you can also define the following settings:

  • Whether the tax has to be transferred to the Admin’s Commission or the Merchant’s Commission
  • Whether the Promo Codes and Loyalty Points have to be deducted from the Admin’s Commission or both the Admin and Merchant’s Commission

You can also define a commission for specific merchants. To do this, follow these steps:

  • Go to Merchants under the General subhead in the left sidebar
  • Click on the merchant you want to specify commission fees for
  • Scroll to the bottom of the page till you find Commission Setup
  • Fill in all the details and click on the blue Save button
