How to Integrate Your Foodics Account with Tookan?

Foodics is an all-inclusive POS and restaurant management solution tailored to adapt to all your needs and goals. Manage all restaurant operations from orders to inventory in one platform.

The Tookan integration with Foodics streamlines the end-to-end ordering and delivery processes. Now you can automatically send Foodics orders to your Tookan account directly and start dispatching, tracking, and managing the deliveries to be fulfilled out in the field and also can receive updates from Tookan to your Foodics account.

The integration process is very simple and takes only a few minutes to set up.

Here’s a step-by-step guide:

  1. Navigate to the Tookan extensions page (https://extensions.tookanapp.com/addons) and search for Foodics.

  1. Activate the extension by clicking the button as shown below: 
  1. It will redirect you to the Foodics page. Firstly, create your account on Foodics, your corresponding Account Number and Password come from your provided email address and then log in to your account using your Foodics credentials.
  1. Once logged in, you will be redirected to the Tookan x Foodics Integration configuration page where you will have to fill below details accordingly:
  • Maps: Select the map type of your choice and fill in the Map API key accordingly.
    If you choose Google Maps, then follow the Google Map Platform Documentation (https://developers.google.com/maps/documentation) to get your API Key.
    If you choose Flight Map, then follow the given Docs to get your Mappr API Key. (https://help.jungleworks.com/mappr/dashboard/api-keys/#gsc.tab=0)
  • Timezone: Fill your machine timezone, To know your timezone click here. (http://timezones.tookanapp.com)
  • Pickup buffer time: Ideal time for pickup in minutes
  • Delivery buffer time: Ideal time for delivery in minutes.
  • Geofence: Enable this toggle, if you’re willing to apply Geofence on Tookan i.e. Tasks will be Aligned to the Agents according to their Geofence
  • Auto-Assignment: By enabling this, you can use the auto-allocation algorithm configured on Tookan for the jobs created from Foodics.
  1. Click on Submit and the integration of Foodics with Tookan is successfully done. Now, you can easily send your orders from Foodics to Tookan.
  1. If you get an “Addon is Missing” error after logging into your  Foodics account, kindly contact your Foodics account manager to have the Tookan app shown to you on the Foodics marketplace.
