Using google maps on tookan : How to integrate googlemaps on tookan?

Google Maps is a web mapping service application and technology provided by Google,

that powers many map-based services, including the Google Maps website, Google Ride Finder, Google Transit, and maps embedded on third-party websites via the Google Maps API.

It offers street maps, a route planner for traveling by foot, car, bike, or with public transportation.

To integrate Google maps with tookan,

First of all,

1.Log in to Tookan

2.Go to settings

3.Select preferences

therein you will see an option called Map configuration. On tookan we have two types of maps.

Therefore to integrate Googlemaps one should select Googlemaps from the drop down,

Using google maps on tookan

Here you will see that we need certain keys required for integration.

Firstly API key

2. tracking link key

This is done from google console. You will need to paste the same key under > api key and >tracking link api key .

also make sure you enable this from google

List of API to be enabled:

Maps Javascript API

Places API

Roads API

Directions API

Geocoding API

Distance matrix Geolocation

Steps to enable an API for your project:

1. Go to the https://console.developers.google.com

2. From the projects list, select a project or create a new one.

3. If the APIs & services page isn’t already open, open the console left side menu and select APIs & services,

and then select Library.

4. Click the API you want to enable.

If you need help finding the API, use the search field.

Maps Javascript, API Places API, Roads API, Directions API, Geocoding API, Distance matrix, Geolocation.

Enable these and add the API to billing.
